I keep learning about new blogs, so now my RSS feed is overloaded! But it’s really great that DC is home to so many food and garden blogs. Here are a few I’ve learned about recently:
The Houndstooth Gourmet: This gorgeous Virginia-based blog was one of the other blogs Mary of the Arugula Files mentioned in her Washingtonian interview, and I’m very glad she did. The photos are incredible, and I love the dissections of the Washington Post food section.
The Dirty Radish: A gardener and CSA subscriber from the DC area – Arlington, I think. It’s fun to see the creative solutions she comes up for the random combinations of vegetables that arrive in her CSA box.
The Natural Capital: It’s not a garden blog, but it’s great for anyone who likes getting outdoors right here in DC. Plus, it features the occasional post about foraging. Remember when I asked about where to find wineberries? Natural Capital has the answer.
